Landscaper & Groundskeeper

Seeking 2-3 individuals to join our team and help bring the grounds to life for every event. Our family owned and operated company hosts over 100 events a year! MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be 16+ years of age. Working knowledge of caring from small engines is a plus. Must be able to read and follow a checklist of duties. Ability to utilize basic math skills. Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Ability to work on feet for a duration of 8 or more hours. Must be comfortable working in a variety of weather
conditions.

ABILITIES REQUIRED
Must have a passion for caring for something beautiful. Must be a self-starter with the ability to multitask. Strong attention to detail with creative problem solving when working on projects and be able to take ideas from concept to completion. Must have working knowledge of plants, flowers, bushes, trees, etc. located throughout the property in order to care for and maintain. Will be responsible for landscaping and maintaining the entire Rustic Manor grounds; approx. 12 acres. Must be able to safely handle, clean and sharpen power tools and equipment. Responsible for a variety of tasks which may include a combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, tree and bush trimming, planting, weeding, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, splitting wood, thick brush removal, providing upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lot and other grounds features. Must assist with set-up and breakdown of all tables and chairs both indoors and outdoors as needed. Must assist any and all departments as needed and perform all other related duties as assigned.

PAY AND SCHEDULE
Tuesday – Thursday from 8:00am – 2pm
Occasional Friday from 7am-12pm
Some weekend hours as needed.
Scheduled working days may vary based on weather. This is primarily a seasonal position (late March or early April – early November). The opportunity for winter hours that include brush removal and burning, plowing, shoveling and spreading salt will be available based on weather conditions. Schedules can be flexible based on weekly workload, seasonal projects and weather.

$15-18.00 hour based on experience
