About Us

The Woman's Club of Hartland was established in 1938. As a volunteer organization, the club serves the Hartland community through many civic and charitable activities. The Woman's Club of Hartland empowers its members through programming, leadership opportunities, interaction with the community and the opportunity to make a difference for others. Members meet monthly for a noon luncheon at various restaurants to network and learn about varied issues facing the community.

The Woman's Club of Hartland is a chapter of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) which is dedicated to strengthening communities and enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. With more than 60,000 members in affiliated clubs in every state and more than 20 countries, GFWC empowers community leaders to work locally to create global change by advocating for women, children and families on issues such as domestic violence and sexual assault, food insecurity and hunger, and promotion of healthy lifestyles. GFWC also supports the arts, works to preserve natural resources, advances education, encourages civic involvement and works toward world peace and understanding.
